Stamford Green Revamp Attracts New Tenants

Following a substantial refurbishment, Property Alliance Group has transformed a 19,664 sq ft office building in Altrincham town centre, and secured two new lettings and an existing tenant expansion.

The refurbishment of Stamford Green focused on enhancing sustainability and wellbeing, which has created Grade A office workspace across the ground and three upper floors, including improvements to communal areas, remodelling of the ground floor entrance and reception area.

Upon completion of the revamp, Swiftfund and True Bearing Chartered Financial Planners, have both moved into Stamford Green, agreeing terms for 2,250 sq ft each on five-year leases on the third floor.

Swiftfund, a global advanced funding provider for businesses, has expanded into Stamford Green, with 12 current members of staff.

Matt Butler, Managing Director, explained his office requirements. He said: “Whilst we wished to stay in Altrincham for its wealth of amenities and transport links, we needed our own space that was flexible around our growth needs. Our business was set up in 2019 and having retained our team throughout Covid-19, we are now growing rapidly. Stamford Green was our preferred choice as it has given us the new space and facility to expand, and keeps us in a central location.”

True Bearing has opened an additional office to their main hub in Euxton, Chorley, with five employees moving into the new premises following a business acquisition in the local area.

Existing long-standing tenant, Mott MacDonald, has also expanded its occupancy at the building with terms agreed on the second floor for 5,000 sq ft, and taking their total occupancy to approximately 20,000 sq ft across Stamford Green and Alliance's adjoining office building. 130 members of staff are now based out of the premises.

The refurbishment programme focused on sustainability and energy efficiency, with smart technology incorporated throughout the building to monitor energy use along with electric vehicle charging points in the car park. In addition, fully fitted kitchens have been provided for each office suite, as well as new wall coverings, flooring, suspended ceilings and LED lighting installed.

Two first floor office suites of 2,200 sq ft remain available to let at Stamford Green, and the whole Ground floor totalling 5,033 sq ft.
