Property Alliance Group has secured more than 9,600 sq ft of lettings at a Grade A office scheme in Hale, Cheshire, with a trio of deals.
Consultancy firm Armstrong Craven has renewed a five-year lease for 3,136 sq ft, property consultants Harvey Silver Hodgkinson has signed another 10-year lease on 1,650 sq ft and following recent expansion, healthcare brand consultancy Strategic North, has taken 4,820 sq ft on a new 10-year lease at Westgate in Hale Road.
Steve Padgett, Managing Partner at Strategic North, said: “Seven years ago, Strategic North began with four partners. Today, we are delighted to move into this light, bright, new space which provides more room for our growing team, new space to meet clients and an environment to inspire our thinking about healthcare brands.
“The location is ideal, with quick access to Manchester airport to connect with our global clients, just 20 minutes into the business, cultural and scientific hub of central Manchester and there’s no doubt we’ll all enjoy the local buzz of Hale too!”
Westgate was formerly a vacant 1980s office building. After acquiring the four-storey property in 2006, Alliance extended and extensively refurbished it to create 16,000 sq ft of high-quality Grade A office accommodation.
Daniel Lee of Regional Property Solutions, agent for Property Alliance Group, said: “Westgate is in a popular location, sitting close to the town centre and the excellent transport links but within walking distance of Hale Village. The impressive Grade A refurbishment of the top floor office space and the mezzanine feature attracted a great deal of interest.”
Rob Peill, head of offices at Alliance added: “These deals reflect the strength of the South Manchester office market, where we are continuing to see a growing demand for high quality, well managed office space.
“Within the last six months alone, we have secured more than 30,000 sq ft of lettings in South Manchester through new occupiers and renewals.”
Other recent deals secured by Property Alliance Group in South Manchester include fuel provider Greenergy which has renewed a 10-year lease for 7,000 sq ft at Egerton House at Towers in Didsbury, and Unique Sports Management which has signed a five-year lease for 1,400 sq ft at Camelia House in Wilmslow.
