Copper Beeches launched

Stunning rural development from Alliance Homes

~Seven sold leaving just three remaining~

Alliance Homes, the residential arm of award-winning developer Property Alliance Group, has launched a stunning new development in High Legh, Cheshire. The 10 three and four bedroom mews properties set within a secure gated rural estate, are on the market from £475,000.

Located just off West Lane, between Knutsford, Lymm and the M56 / M6 interchange, Copper Beeches is ideal for commuters working in Manchester, Liverpool or Warrington, who yearn to live in the heart of a country village. The development is designed to resemble a traditional rural farmstead and is set around a secure central courtyard, accessed via electronic keypad. Each home enjoys a high quality contemporary interior, private garden and storage, and access to the communal wildflower gardens and fields beyond.

The development is now complete and the showhome open to buyers. Already, seven homes have been bought off plan, leaving just three remaining for sale with agents Gascogine Halman in Lymm and Stuart Rushton in Knutsford.

Gary Mather, Development Manger at Alliance, said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the response to Copper Beeches. The opportunity to purchase a high specification new home in a genuinely beautiful rural spot is extremely rare, so there was huge interest when we released them for sale last year.

“One thing which has surprised us is where our buyers are coming from. We anticipated the development would appeal to people in the local area and out to Warrington, which it has, but it is also drawing people from the south Manchester suburbs of Didsbury and Altrincham, and even the North of the city, the likes of Bury and Prestwich. Clearly being so well connected, with the motorways just a few minutes’ drive and Manchester city centre within commuting distance, many people are realising they can have a countryside home and work in the city.”

Copper Beeches is the first development from the Alliance Homes brand, established specifically to market bespoke, high end residential developments. Property Alliance Group, which has a £240m commercial property portfolio, has a number of choice sites within the region where a residential scheme offers the best opportunity for development.

David Russell Chairman of Alliance added: “This site was derelict for many years and, while it was previously a small commercial farming operation, always had the potential to be a fantastic residential development which I felt was only fitting for this setting.

“There is always high demand for homes in this area but there is an understandable lack of new build development in such a rural location. This site offered the perfect opportunity to create beautiful new homes on a previously developed site, without impacting the countryside beyond.

“There are other parcels of land within the Alliance portfolio for which a residential development is more appropriate than commercial and which we will explore in the future.”

Property Alliance Group is also in the process of bringing more than 500 new high-end apartments to market in Manchester city centre. Construction of the first 172 apartments at Axis Tower is now underway and 357 apartments at Oxygen are due to start on site soon.
